Kerry Distribution (Thailand) Limited was registered in Thailand by Kerry Logistics Network Ltd. (KLN), with Mr. Ma Wing Kai William, an executive of KLN, as one of the founders.

Kerry Distribution (Thailand) Limited started providing express delivery services in Thailand under the Kerry Express brand, including payment-on-delivery services.

2011

December

Delivered more than 8,000 parcels on a peak day.

2013

September

Opened the first Kerry Express parcel shop to provide over-the-counter parcel service in Asoke, Bangkok.

2014

January

Kerry Express (Thailand) Company Limited was incorporated and spun off rom Kerry Distribution (Thailand) Limited to take over and exclusively operate the express parcel delivery service in Thailand.

September

Launched the proprietary Kerry Express application 1.0.

2015

June

Commenced operations at our first logistics hub, Kerry Bangna Logistics Center, located in a key strategic transportation area near Bangkok.

August

Introduced Bangkok same-day (“BSD”) delivery service within the Bangkok Metropolitan and Greater Bangkok areas, whereby we collect parcels in the morning and provide delivery in the afternoon.

2016

June

Launched our internally designed Kerry Express Distribution Management System (“KES”) to enhance information flow within our Company. See “Our Technology Infrastructure—Internal Distribution Management Systems” for more details of KES.

2017

June

Launched EasyShip, an online platform that assists some of our C2C customers, mainly small and medium size businesses and online sellers, with managing their parcels.

2018

July

Opened the new Kerry Express data center and disaster recovery site located at Pathumthani and Amata Nakorn, respectively, located in facilities leased from AIS.

VGI PCL became our strategic shareholder, holding 23.0% of our total issued shares, prior to the Combined Offering.

September

Delivered more than one million parcels on a peak day.

2019

December

Introduced D2D services and expanded our network to more than 16,000 service locations, more than triple the number of service locations in 2018.

In 2019, Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chaiman of VGI, was appointed as an Honorable Chairman of KETH. Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas does not hold any directorship position and does not take part in any management activities as an executive of KETH.

2020

January

Introduced BTS couriers and our customer loyalty program, the Kerry Express Loyalty Program. We also commenced our nationwide rollout of SD services.

February

Incorporated KETH Corporate Services Ltd., our wholly-owned subsidiary, in Hong Kong, with a registered capital of HKD10,000, to provide us with administrative and corporate support.

As of August 25, 2020, KETH Corporate Services Ltd. has not commenced any commercial operations.

Converted to and registered as a public company in Thailand.

Adopted the ESOP to grant share-based compensation awards to our employees, executives and directors.

Registered a capital increase from THB120 million to THB890 million, amended our par value to THB0.50 per share and amended our Memorandum to reflect our capital increase. The capital increase was approved at our shareholders’ meeting to accommodate the issuance and allocation of 1,540,000,000 newly issued shares as follows: (1) THB600 million up to 1,200,000,000 shares for the rights offering to all of our existing shareholders, which has been completed; (2) THB150 million up to 300,000,000 shares for the Combined Offering; and (3) THB20 million up to 40,000,000 shares to accommodate the exercise of warrants under the ESOP.

Registered Kerry Express Service Limited (“KESL”), a subsidiary in which we hold a 49% equity interest, with a registered capital of THB 1,000,000, to obtain the Land Transport License from the DLT and provide transportation services under the Land Transport Act, using our 4-wheel pick-up trucks and 6-wheel line haul trucks. KESL obtained a Land Transport License from the DLT on July 21, 2020.

August

Transferred employees involved in land transport activities, as well as vehicle leasing contracts and expenses related to land transport activities, from KETH to KESL. KESL commenced its operations as our land transport service provider.

December

Converted to a public limited company and listed on the SET on 24 December 2020 under the stock code KEX and increased registered capital from Baht 120 million to Baht 890 million.

2021

February

Joined hands with Bangkok Bank Plc. (BBL:SET) to enable customers of Bangkok Bank Plc. and KEX to verify their identities at Kerry Express’s Be My ID service points. This service enables customers to open their accounts on the application without visiting a BBL’s physical branch, while increases channels for identity verification and grants special delivery fees discounts to provide a superior digital experience to a new generation of customers.

March

Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Agricultural Extension, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, to co-develop and promote the agricultural logistics system, supporting the uplift of farming operations and delivery systems for end customers.

Collaborated with Sabuy Technology Plc. (SABUY:SET) to introduce Kerry Wallet, a digital platform for payment solution and a unique container of KEX’s services and tools, and to retain the user’s spare cash inside KEX

Flourish Harmony Holdings Co.,Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of S.F. Holding Co.,Ltd. (002352:SZ) one of China’s largest express conglomerates, became a majority shareholder of Kerry Logistics Network Ltd. (636:HKG), KEX’s ultimate major shareholder. This step will sharpen KEX’s competitive edge with platform-related technology and Thailand-China cross-border e-commerce and boost KEX’s leaping and sustainable growth. Flourish Harmony Holdings has been granted a waiver from the SEC to make a mandatory tendor offer for all securities in KEX.

Listed in Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) by embracing commitment towards environmental impact management, social responsibility, and a good corporate governance practice to strengthen business operation and provide long-term value to our shareholders and stakeholders.

Partnered with Rabbit Cash Co., Ltd to launch a pilot lending service under the concept “Money Rabbolution,” giving online customers access to financial assistance with low interest. With a simplified lending process for consumers, including digital identity verification, authentication, and real-time money disbursement to any bank accounts in Thailand, customers can obtain approval for loans as fast as 5-10 minutes. The pilot lending service targets 1 million Kerry Express Loyalty Club members, including online sellers who regularly use its parcel delivery service.

Signed the Joint Venture Agreement with Betagro to found Kerry Betagro Co., Ltd., a joint venture company between KEX and Betagro with the investment portions of 60% by KEX and 40% by Betagro and paid-up capital of Baht 50 million, to launch Kerry Cool, a forefront cold delivery platform driven by world-class technology, process engineering, and ultimate user-experience across Thailand for the best customer experience.

Selected as an index component of three of the country’s major indices: SET100, SETTHSI, and SETWB indices.

Made a debut as Thailand’s 1st instant parcel pickup service in collaboration with GrabTaxi (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to offer seamless Doorto-Door services.

Collaborated with The Mall Group to expand customer service touch points at participating Gourmet Market outlets.

Launched Kerry Express Wallet, a digital payment solutions platform in collaboration with Sabuy Technology Plc. (SABUY:SET) with expectation to fully deploy and expand Kerry Express Wallet in 2023.
